Eclipse Resources

This page will expand over the coming months, but rest assured there are LOTS of great resources for learning about and preparing for a solar eclipse. Here are a few of my favorites for starters.

Resource-Rich Sites from Official Sources:

American Astronomical Society’s Solar Eclipse site includes a comprehensive list of resources on all topics. Their Solar Eclipse Task Force also has recorded videos of all their planning workshops, including everything from eclipse basics to large-scale public safety planning.

NASA’s April 8, 2024 Solar Eclipse Page gives both great information and a wide variety of media resources, as well as connecting to some of their extensive education and research materials.

National Science Teaching Association’s Eclipse Page includes Guides for Teachers and School Administrators and upcoming webinars for Teachers.

Hoosier Association of Science Teachers, Inc.’s Solar Eclipse site includes links and resources curated for and by Indiana educators.
